Paragon Sports

Been going there for a number of years for a simple reason. They actually provide services that only brick and mortar stores can provide. Went there to buy running shoes and it was nice to have someone who knew their stuff help me with picking the right shoes. Thank you, staff. Always look forward to shopping there. It's always been a wonderful experience.

Purchased a second bike with Paragon Sports. Jimmy Ling from cycling was outstanding. Super helpful, knowledgeable and put us to ease. He introduced us to the various bike models. He changed our bike seat and walked us to the counter to buy the bike; held the door open and walked us out with the bike. It felt like we were purchasing a car. Just a great experience

Paragon is like the Best Buy of sporting good store. It has all the basic generic brands for the general consumer and tourists who flock there like it is the 'only' sporting goods store in the city. If you want something of better quality, best to go to your specific needs (tennis a tennis shop etc). The staff is friendly and generally knows about the products you are looking for just without the blue shirt and khakis.

It's like a big box sporting goods store with a New York City soul. Appeals to the masses, but perhaps not to the die hard outdoor/sport enthusiasts. Staff is attentive and helpful.

This store had recently gone through remodeling on the ground to accommodate the new wing of the athletic shoes section that was moved from the basement. Its a floor plan they should have created from the get go because the shoes department is their biggest store traffic. The new shoe department is modern and stylishly designed. This is my go to store to buy anything athletic and winter jackets.
