Penske Truck Rental

This truck has so many safety issues. Worst experience ever. Rented us a truck and car hauler that should never have been rented. We didn't notice ALL of the issues until we loaded and were ready to get on the road. Tire on car hauler had to be replaced due to tread worn and chord showing. Huge crack in windshield. Front corner of box truck over driver side was completely cracked through. They had to patch it. If we didn't discover the huge hole, all of our furniture and valuables would have been ruined by inclement weather. Back end is dented in and scratches down both sides. The truck was not topped off with fuel or DEF.

If i could give 0 stars I would. They called and canceled my reservation without even 24 hour notice before my pick up date tomorrow and they were extremely rude! They did not apologize once and Elisia hung up on me when I asked for the managers name who refused to speak with me on the phone. I also asked for the owners information which they refused to give me. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Now I am without a truck to move after making a 12 hour drive from Arizona to pick up the rental truck! When I asked if they could help make arrangements at the Sacramento dealer 2 hours away they would not help. I will never use Penske again.

These guys suck. Busted trucks and outrageous prices. I paid $200 for a truck for the weekend and the lift gate was completely useless. I mentioned the issues to the guy at the front desk and I didn't even get as much as an apology.
