The Store manager Valarie is one of a kind. You dont need to worry about pier 1 backing you up on their merchandise because Valerie will literally jump thru any hoop to satisfy her customers. Wow if I could rate this location a 100 stars its well deserved. I purchased a table that was on back order for shy of 3 months. I kept calling and finally it arrived. She personally loaded the table in my SUV and when I got home eager to put it together the manufacturer had a defect on the legs. Well the store was once again on back order to try to even get a new table. So Valerie personally drove to another store 30 + miles away and then drove it to my home in her personal vehicle carried ot in and put it together for me. She also took the deffceted legs back. UNBELIEVABLE OUTSTANDING one of a kind store manager. Thank you !
Had a horrible experience at this store on 4.9.19. The store clerk Sue, was unable to find an item online when I gave her the name and full description of the item. Also, I did not have my receipt for a return, instead of asking for my phone number to search for the receipt she gave me a store credit. The store credit was for only four of the six items I returned. I realized this and shortly after I left and called the manager Patrice who asked me to come back to the store to get the correct amount put back on my VISA card. When I returned to the store, Patrice gave me a refund without an apology or a thank you and did not acknowledge the fact it was pouring rain outside. I still did not receive credit back to my card as yet. I have since called Corporate and placed a formal complaint. I love Pier 1, but I will never shop at this store EVER!!!
LOVE THE 2/20.00 Candles! They are bigger & better than OTHER speciality shops! They burn evenly and the smell last much longer! The problem is you MUST buy 2, not 3 or 5, etc Most employees will advise to get the extra one for discount but ONE Female acted as she didnt have a clue... I watch As they ring each item, gave her time to say something but never batted an eye even AFTER I ASKED! Not the stores fault!
I was drawn in by the Christmas sale signs in the window. Even though there was not many Christmas items left, I found plenty of other good deals. As I picked up some beautiful place mats, and some nice glasses to coordinate with them.
Purchased a wall art carving from them from a section of the store marked as 20% off. On checkout we were told that specific other wasn't on sale so I asked if there was any discount available. Once we got back to car we checked out the website and, sure enough, it was on sale for free delivery to the store. When we went back inside, the sales lady immediately corrected the price and said they aren't allowed to promote online sales. In other words, their policy is to rip you off and fix the issue if you complain. Check your prices carefully against the website.
I ordered 2 bling wine glasses and a few hurricane vases and candles to go with them online. I received 1 wine glass all broke up, and 1 of the hurricane vase was the wrong size, I was so devastated.. So I called the closest store near me and Parin was absolutely great, she was extremely helpful!!! Great customer service. Thank you again Pier 1
Nicole assisted me in creating a beautiful centerpiece for my table for the holiday. We spent about 1.5 hours and she was very patience, caring and amazing customer service. She listened to my likes and dislikes. Thanks Nicole!
I love going to look around; everything is so pretty and put together. Everyone is always nice. The only negative that I have experienced are the prices. Most items are expensive; a charger for $15 or even $25 is too much.
Giving a shout out to Patrice at the Pier 1 in Kennesaw off Barrett Parkway! She was so helpful and we had a GREAT shopping experience!! Totally helped us get our porch chairs and cushions! Thanks!
Going out of business sale!! The sales folks were nice and the items are beautiful. Though they do still seem a bit pricey.
