It was cool seeing bison in MO. Wish there was some shaded trails but it is a prarie.. So I wouldn't recommend doing the trails in the heat of the day or you'll be scorched. The campgrounds however were in some trees and looked really nice.

Great Prairie hikes, neat little campground by a small trolling Creek, and the park info center is quite well done.

Walking in the sunshine with wild bison in the distance and frogs singing in our footsteps.

Great views of plants and wildlife. Bring water, sunscreen, and do not bring pets. Be aware of bison and do not approach.
