I have lived here a little over a year now and i just wanted to leave a review saying that indi in the office staff has been very helpful every time i have had to get things situated with my apartment. She is always pleasant to talk to and quickly helps resolve my issues. I also wanted to mention that despite the bad reviews here the tenants here seem to be missing that the new management has been doing a great job improving the apartments with new windows and toilets and I am sure there is more to come. This complex has only gotten better with the new management and i appreciate that despite the short staffing they and everywhere else is having right now they’re still providing quality service.
Loud disruptive music at times in the summer months. Sometimes cars are parked any kind of way or neighbors have company and I have to park in a different lot and walk back to my apartment. Residents not putting garbage in the trash recepticles properly and there has been trash all over the ground around the bin which makes the property look dirty. Otherwise I have enjoyed my stay here at Northern Woods. Also I have had no issues with management. Communication is good. If I have a problem, it has been resolved in a timely manner.
I like living here. However, under new management, the office staff is very hard to get a hold of. It’s a hit or miss. There are few good days they answer. I just expect them to not reply or answer anymore really. It doesn’t matter if it’s by email or phone, or if you leave a voicemail. I’m also tired of the parking issues. For everyone else complaining about not having enough parking for actual residents, get ready for winter because it’s a whole lot worse then. You’ll have to park far away and then trek through the ice and snow, if we get it this year. The maintenance team is what makes it a better place. I have good neighbors. I like the layout of the apartment. And I’ve been here for about 9 years almost. The previous management was extremely diligent about answering the phone, returning emails, keeping up with parking issues and using parking permits. It’s been almost a year November 2022 since the new property owners and office staff took over, and it’s been about a year with the same communication issue and parking issues. So as nice as the new office staff is I’ve spoken to a few people including Brittany, Riley, etc it’s starting to get frustrating at this point. Hopefully it changes. There were emails sent out that parking issues and communication would be worked on, but I have not seen any changes. Hopefully soon!
I went in on August 26th and talked to Muskaan. She told me that she had a townhome that was already renovated that was available now. I asked if there was another's that would be available. She states that the tenants are moving this weekend and would be available next weekend. She sent me a quote for the apartments. I put in an application for apartment S-3143 which the tenants were moving out of. I got to the detailed information part and there were charges for a second administrative fee and the dog rent was $50 each, not $75 for 2 which is not only advertised on the website but that is what she told me. So, I called on Monday, August 28th, and had to leave a message. No one ever called back. So, I called again on August 31st. Muskaan answered this time and started oh, I was about to call you. The townhome is on the renovated list now and won't be available until October for more money. Mind you I was to move in on September 3rd. Since this was not disclosed to me before I applied, I asked for $285 I paid for the online administrative, application, and online payment She said she wouldn't give back the application fee. She stole $285 from me and will not return it. I filed a consumer complaint with the attorney general's office and I am going to contact the housing authority.
I went on an apartment tour with the lovely Miss Indicah and she was the sweetest most respectful guide I’ve ever had. Always smiling when I came in for help and she was always first to step up and help when needed!
Absolutely no where for tenets to park. Having to park in other lots and walk to my apartment. I also had my car ran through twice as well as my boyfriends and they didn't seem to care even slightly. On top of seeing other peoples car doors left open and ran through. If you love your stuff. Dont move here.
UPDATE 9/26/23- After all of the miscommunication, being passed back and forth from corporate to the on site office and never receiving clear concise replies, I have been evicted. This company does not care about their tenants. They are neglectful of their tenants and the grounds are DISGUSTING. DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE or WORKING WITH AION MANAGEMENT. Save yourself the time and money and lack of accountability. UPDATE- MY RENT WAS INCREASED WHILE I WAS HOSPITALIZED completely unaware AND NOW IVE RECEIVED A NOTICE TO VACATE. this company does NOT CARE and will not communication within a timely manner. DO NOT RECOMMEND. they are scammers No one answers the phone, voicemail is always full. I NEED ASSISTANCE WITH MY APARTMENT AT 5494 P. Not to mention their voicemail is full and I cannot even get a response through the active building portal. Neglectful.
Place has been taken over by new management. Aion. They have had a few bumps. The leasing staff has definitely been helpful. Brittany has always been sweet to me during the transition. I needed help with the resident portal, and she walked me through each step!! I wish they would hurry with the construction, I have been here for years and this whole process is driving me crazy.
I was recently looking for a short term lease that was within my price range and close proximity to my job. After searching the area I landed on the Reserves. At first It didn't seem like they had much to offer, but after stopping in the office and speaking with Brittany I was sold on the complex. Brittany was very helpful walking me through the process and I'm thankful my family and I worked with her.
DO NOT move in the apartment complex units are outdated mold, paint peeling, old carpet, in addition decided to renew lease while in process of buying home and the new management is beyond rude! called and spoke to Rylee to inquire the terms of my new lease and she was unable to explain told me I needed to email her management then hung up on me! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE Is horrible everyone has bad attitudes!
