Rex's Chicken

These are excellent chicken nuggets and tenders, especially if you dine-in and they come out steaming hot! The green beans gave me a taste of Georgia where I was raised. The fried bread is to die for! There are many varieties of fresh tea (Georgia peach, watermelon..., etc.). It is very clean, the people are polite and Miss Angie will take good care of you! We will come back each time that we come up from Ft. Worth to visit our grandsons!

Love this place, I'm so happy it's back. I remember as a kid going to Rex's chicken with my dad and how yummy the chicken was and the fried bread. Now they offer a jalapeno chicken that is oh so good! It was very nice and clean inside, the staff was friendly and helped answer any questions I threw at him. I have to say that compared to the very popular "Christian" chicken place just down the road, you get much more for your money here and it's fresher! Plus it wasn't jam packed so I had no problem finding a place to sit and hardly any wait for my food. I don't eat fast food offen or meat but if I do Rex's chicken will be on top of the list of places to go.

Not as good as it once was. Chicken was really over seasoned fry bread was like a sponge soaking up grease! Mashed potatoes were really good. Red skin potatoes! Don't salt or pepper without tasting first. I'm in no hurry to come back anytime soon.. What a let down!!!

I work here. I'm gonna be honest with you, yeah, it's overpriced. Why? The drinks. You should check the price for them. Honestly the best deal on the menu is probably the Rex's sandwich. Premium sides are in slightly larger portions but I don't think they should honestly cost more. The chicken is honestly pretty good, but I've personally eaten more than my body can handle. The frybread quality HEAVILY changes. It can either have a huge air bubble and be sour or it can be so good it doesn't even need the honey. I would encourage you to come here more so we can stay in business, but not all that often as the food is kinda pricey and has very few non-fried items.

I love this place. The only critique I have is that the soda fountain sprays all over my hand when I get diet dr pepper and the breading on the chicken could be a little thicker. I've had the fries, mashed potatoes and green beans for sides and they were all good.
