This was definitely worth the hour and a half drive. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about everything. We came on a school's field trip day and a staff member told us we could view the house before they headed that way, then return to the museum portion afterwards; very helpful. Everything is just as he left it when he passed and it's amazing to see everything. I definitely recommend this attraction.

Awesome place. Nice museum and the house, guests, and servants quarters are practically untouched. Truly historic! I will say if you go with a group, ask about the family pass. It's $50 but it gets 6 adults into any of Georgia's historic sites for a year where it's $12 each for 1 visit.

Really neat. A step back in time to a simpler era. Perfectly-maintained interior scenes show life in an earlier part of our history.

Excellent park. Easy to get around. More history than we expected. Take a ride to Dowdles Knob - it’s a very pretty overlook.

I have been interested in going here for a while. I was expecting more as I have been to the Keys White House. The resident bathroom has the original toilet paper from the day. Not sure if you call that a highlight. I was impressed with the housing for the staff and guests.
