Sally Beauty

I didn't catch her name, but the little lady with the sides of her head shaved and short, rainbow hair was really great! I think she was a manager, based on her high skill level. She greeted me immediately once I entered the store and made sure I had everything I needed. When I had questions she listened and knew exactly what I would need to get. Checking out she made sure I knew about all the deals and promotions, including ways to save me money. Her professionalism and knowledge definitely made me feel confident and I'm going to make sure I return to this Sally location. Great job, pastel rainbow hair!

Excellent communication skills and knowledge of product. Employee's obvious experience with beauty products is so nice to be around. Professional Dying devices and bleaching ingredients are available here. Punky colors and manic panic are sold here too. The place to go if dying your hair bright turquoise and royal purple with highlights of burgundy wine red is your thing. I hope it is. That is so punk.

Came in for the Seche Vite restorer. They carry the 'entire Seche Vite line'. If you are familiar, they cannot be thinned with polish remover or acetone. The brand has its own restorer. So this location carries every Seche vite top or base coat but NOT the restorer. Which is just crazy. I asked the clerk if she knew what the restorer was... She said yes. Even though she didn't even know what Seche Vite was to begin with. Yay! So I asked why they wouldn't carry a VITAL product in their line... She had no idea and proceeded to ignore me for the rest of my visit. Stock was low and looked more like a Walgreens than a Sally's. No empty nail polish bottles so you can mix yourself and VERY low selection of shears unless you want to spend $60 plus. Disappointed considering this is the Sally's that should supply most of down town Portland . Won't be back.

The people that work there are genuine and helpful. I also found a unique variety of items at this store. Been here a few times and have actually gotten complimented by my HAIRDRESSER on my color!

Not like it used to be in terms of price and selection of pro products. Stock and prices are the same as drug and department stores now, but with fewer options.The only discounts are for discontinued colors or cheaply made brands you can get for the same price elsewhere. The one thing you can count on is they have needed equipment/hardware the others don't stock much of, but again, it's no bargain anymore either. The clerk was pleasant, attentive, and helpful.
