Took this organization more than a year to get coverage for my father. Repeatedly lost supplied paperwork. Curt when trying to speak to Administration. Finally went to Congressman Harris. Failed miserably in my eyes. Useless

I have been calling this number for a close friend who has a 13 year old nephew who hasn't been in school for a year.  He is very violent and smokes weed that his mother supplies so he doesn't break things in the house.  I have talked with mutliple people at social services and they transferred me to child abuse and than they transferred me to Youth Empowerment, who told the family they were aware of the situation but mom will not follow any recommendations.   I live in PA and I am so appalled that we can not get anyone in MD to help this family.  What kind of adult do you think he is going to grow up to be?  Where is the protection for this child?  Where is the help for mom because this is definitely a case of enabling.
