I had a great experience with southern star automotive! Ronny was communicative and knowledgeable about the model car I was looking into purchasing but at the same time did not pressure me into the sale at any time. A lot of times car salesmen just want their car off the lot, but Ronny was relaxed and made sure I was happy with my purchase. He & Bobbie worked overtime to get me my into my new Jeep over the memorial day holiday weekend & I am very grateful for the connections they have they were definitely able to “hook it up” for me! Thanks again Ronny & your team at southern star!!!!

We purchased a 2010 Infinity E35 today from Ronnie Watts and it was without a doubt one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I have ever had. This low key dealer is loaded with fabulous used cars in excellent condition. Our biggest problem was deciding which one to buy. There was no pressure or Mickey Mouse BS about price between the invisible sales manager etc. mainly because the price was so fair right in the middle of the Kelly Blue Book even with the reasonable dealer fee and adveloram tax!!

Up front, this auto dealer and sales representative profess to be "A New Kind of Dealership" as they quote in their window. NOT TRUE. Ronny Watts gave us a story about how they go out and get the best possible vehicles they can at auction. Then they go thru the vehicles with a fine tooth comb to make them up to standard. He even went on to tell us that he lent his daughter a vehicle for an errand, that they had just gotten in, before they checked it out and she got stuck in the middle of an intersection, being very frantic and upset about it. That's why he believes in what they do at this dealership. So why would he sell us a vehicle that he knew would be used by our 18 year old granddaughter for transportation to college that was NOT to those specifications?? The car looks great outwardly, and mechanically. No visible signs of anything being wrong. Yet within a few days, having it checked out by our reliable mechanic, found that it needed a new oil pump and pan seal, plus an alignment and tire balance. After paying $6K for this vehicle, it was necessary to shell out another $1200 in repairs. The oil leak wasn't visible at the time because they power washed it very well. And on top of this, upon calling if they could do anything for us, we were told, 'You signed the form that says "AS IS", did you not. So that's what that means.' Not so polite or customer friendly once they get your money. So be wary of Trojan horses in dealerships that boast to be "A New Kind of Dealership", because they are all the same.

I spoke with Ronny on the phone about a truck I saw on their website. We set up a time for me to come in the following day. Ronny was waiting for me. We took the truck out and it was exactly as they described on their website - maybe even better. We got back from the test drive and Ronny was so easy to work with. My wife and two daughters sort of took over the place while we were there and everyone was incredibly nice. I highly suggest looking to Southern Star for your next vehicle. Thanks again Ronny!

Outstanding car buying experience. Found a truck that piqued my interest through Kelly Blue Book and then visited the SSA website which was very informative and had so many quality pictures. I went by on a Sunday when they were closed to look at it myself and it was everything they advertised. Went back a couple of days later and hooked up with Ronnie to take it for a test drive. He was an absolute plesure to work with. Made me feel very comfortable and NO PRESSURE sales pitches. He just let the truck speak for itself. Made my decision to buy the next day and Ronnie and Bobbie got me on the road with no hassles. I've been driving it for a week and it is in immaculate condition! A 2003 Nissan Frontier with 80675 mile and one previous owner who apparently loved his truck. I'm a happy man every time I get behind the wheel. I highly recommend Southern Star Automotive for your next used car purchase!
