I had a $19.99 'Forever Internet' contract with Time-Warner Cable and a $10 a month Cable Internet phone. Since TWC and Spectrum merged Spectrum is legally obligated to honor all TWC Internet contracts and phone contracts so my Internet contract apparently was locked in a $19 and change a month but the phone service apparently was not locked to $10 so it's went up to $25 which I guess is as high as they can raise it contractually because they have stopped raising the rates. So I go to their local store and call their national number both and ask for them to drop my phone contract and keep my internet contract. They claim they can't without dropping both contracts which is a bald faced lie truthfully. Of course they can drop the phone contract and not the other internet contract. I signed up for the internet contract and then added the other phone contract later there is nothing binding in those TWC contracts that both services must be kept to keep the internet contract valid because TWC allowed the phone contracts to be dropped with no effect on the internet contracts before the merger. That is a fact. Technically one must have the TWC internet to have to TWC phone to begin with but one must not have the TWC phone technically to have the TWC internet. Spectrum is trying to coerce me into dropping my TWC contracts as they try and plot a excessively greedy path forward to charging customers over $100 each for each of the phone, cable, and internet portions of their services. Bottom line - if I had done what Spectrum wanted me to do I would have dropped my TWC cable internet phone, dropped my TWC cable internet and signed a contract for Spectrum cable internet that uses the same modem and same speed as the TWC cable internet service but I'd pay $65 a month for internet without phone instead of $54 a month for internet with phone I have now with my grandfathered TWC contracts. Spectrum has lost touch with reality! They need a good class action suit filed against them. Ridiculous

Poor customer service and techs that do not want to do their jobs but try and pass it on to the next guy. Ask for service and given an installation date which on that date received a call that they would not be able to do it that day. So we had to call and have it rescheduled and were given another 4 day wait. Tech was scheduled between 4-5. 5 o'clock gets here and no tech. We call up and were told someone would call us back in a few minutes. 6 O'Clock gets here and no call. We call back up and they let us know that they would have a different tech show up but it would be about a half an hour. Tech gets here around 6:30 after dark to do a scheduled 2 and a half hour install and he says he cannot do anything because cable is going to have to get buried. He puts an order in for that and that would be another 4 day wait. Guys get here to run cable underground they are here 5 minutes to run cable 3 feet underground from pole to home. Again we call to have another tech to come to do install. Again another 4 day wait. Tech arrives and says he cannot do the job because there needs to be a tap put on the pole and guess what? He says that would be the next day for that and another 3-4 days for another tech to do the install. Furious already, call customer service again, to have them tell us that the earliest they could get a truck out to put the tap in would be 3 weeks at which time we told them to cancel the order. Enough is enough.

Poor service...took 3 different people to come try and figure out why our internet wasn't working and they still don't know. Poor customer service and they will threaten you if you say you wanna down grade and still try to get every dime off of you.

Yeaaahh ..if u could upgrade the staff to something besides sloths that'd be great lol hate dealing with this place
