Super 8 by Wyndham Laurel

The front office staff was very friendly, the room was average but with an awesome shower!!! It worked great for just sleeping and driving into DC to your. They have a small, but satisfying little breakfast that was yummy! Awesome price and decent location to DC if you don’t mind a little drive.

I don't understand the positive reviews on this location. I try not to be a troll but in this case a warning needs to be made. Pulling up on this hotel at 1 am on a Sunday night, I was greeted by 2 prostitutes standing by their pimps car that was parked in FRONT of the lobby. Once the desk clerk buzzed me in, I was separated from him by a 3 inch sheet of bullet proof glass which he was locked behind. He gave me my room that was located on the back of the hotel which was not well lit and while walking to my room, I was greeted by 3 more working girls who kindly offered to keep me company. Once I locked myself in my room and carefully surveyed the premises to make sure I was alone, I was rather shocked at how clean the room appeared and the quality of the flat screen. Although the smell of cigarettes in the sheets and pillows ruined whatever positives I managed to find in my accommodations. Being pretty freaked out by the area though, I made my stay here as short as possible. I will not stay here again.

This hotel is about what you would expect for the $80 base rate that you pay per night. I stayed here after mass airline cancelations filled every national chain from Washington to Baltimore. It had available rooms, as you might expect. The room looks like it came from a police procedural crime scene. Very cheaply furnished, as you would expect. It has an under-window HVAC system. They provide a noisy fridge and flat-screen TV with cable. I found no evidence of bed bugs. On the negatives side, the shower drain was stopped upand the sink stopper didn't work. It's right on a busy road, so front facing rooms can hear that. And the window opens onto the walkway, so you have to choose between sunlight or privacy.

I had an extended stay as I was working in this area for a few months and this motel was awesome. The staff and the management were very good to me. I will be staying here again whenever I'm working in this area. I highly recommend this motel it's clean and very good people.

Pretty good. Many amenities for the price. Great WiFi.
