Motel 6 Washington DC - Capitol Heights

I rented a room at Motel 6 in Capital Heights, Maryland for granddaughter graduation. It was the WORST experience I have ever had. The room did not have a refrigerator nor microwave, the door looked as if it had been kicked in, the back size of the hotel had prostitutes coming and going all night, the walls are thin as tissue paper, my bed was not made us when I returned about 10 PM and the maid just threw my clean towels in a pile. I had to call the front desk to report illegal activity in the back of the hotel. I will never stay at Motel 6 ever again. I cannot give this review NOT one star. The entrance gate is suppose to be open only with a gate key. It was kept up all day and night.

I came into this establishment on Friday evening. The service was horrible from the beginning. The lady at front desk gave me no options and was very unapproachable. When I got to the room the heat did not even work. I had my wife go in there the next day because I just didn't want to deal with it and the same thing happened to him. There was nobody even at the front desk. Her and about five others stood in the lobby and waited for service for about 15min and it was nasty service. We needed a iron and when we called the lady and was rude and hung up on us. It wasn't until Sunday morning that we received some typeof quality service from this establishment. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be staying there again.

Usually I never have a problem with a Motel 6. This one decided it wasn't taking cash payments till the next day. I never heard such a thing. Maybe something unique to this area. I could be wrong though

first room... ceiling was falling in toilet was not working. when I told front desk worker she had attitude and didn't want to give me a new room. when she finally did give me a new room, the room was a mess. bathroom was not clean. bowel movement on the toilet. the toilet paper had only a few sheets left and maid tried to fix it like it was a fresh roll. stains all over the mattress.

The floors was extremely dirty, the bathroom wasn't fully cleaned. There was hair on the toilet and the toilet was not properly aligned. The TV was so dusty that it looked like it hasn't been wiped in day's or weeks. The cover had stains on them. At the end of my stay my socks were no longer white, they were brown. My stay in room 217 was not pleasant. Thank you.
