Super 8 by Wyndham Lexington Park/California Area

Staff members were great. Room was large and comfortable. Pool was out of service the first night, but the Maintenance staff worked hard to have it back in order by the next afternoon. Do need to put some instant grits on the breakfast bar. My grandson loves them. If you're in the California(MD) area, this is the place to stay for a cheaper price and convenient stay

Basically after seeing few of the negative reviews I really had a mixed feeling whether to stay here for a long period ( 7 to 10 nights). So decided to stay for a night and see how the things go. The Location was nice and food is all around the location and Walmart is just a block away. I really Liked the front desk clerks who worked very hard and were knowledgeable. Never had any issues for me. It was always peaceful and calm. The Soothing music which is played in the lobby was very relaxing and smooth.

Room was clean and comfortable although it was starting to show it's age and this was what we could afford in this area compared to all other hotels this is the cheapest and nicest so none of it bothered us. The beds are nothing special and by no means plush. They are just your basic spring beds. No big deal they served their purpose. I inspected the mattress for bedbugs and everything looked ok... not that I'm an expert but I just had to check because I had Bed bugs issues in most of the hotels were I stayed. But thankfully this hotel doesn't that problem. So I'm giving it a 5 star rating.

I stayed for two nights. It was reasonable. The room was clean and basic amenities provided. It was also very quiet and the private patio was very nice to have. The only thing I didn't like that much (or would have preferred to have): There is no lift. And that is Ok for the people in the 1st and second floors but, I was on the 3rd floor as I prefer to have a smoking room. That's the only thing which i felt to be needed, Apart from that everything is Super fine.

stayed here last minute overnight stay on drive back to NJ, clean, cozy no too expensive, night staff was funny and warm. room very clean, comfortable. breakfast selection was good, would suggest adding meat items to menus. overall nice will stay again for sure
