Texas FITT

Gym cleanliness is five stars, desired equipment availability is five stars, staff customer service also five stars. The equipment is never broken and they have loads of classes for all fitness types. The owners know how to train their staff which makes you want to keep coming back. I recommend this gym to anyone and everyone. Stop by, talk to the staff, and be impressed. For the record I used to work for a gym in Dallas, I have trained in them for years, and I do not personally know any of the staff (so my views are unbiased), I had two prior gym memberships which I canceled to join Texas FITT.

Best family gym available. More than sufficient variety of equipment and classes available. Lovely staff. Trainers to meet your need and style - low key, no sales pitches. Weight loss programs if you need one. Facility always very clean,(no gym smell!), machines kept well sanitized. Smooth bar.

Great gym with great people. The gym is clean and equipment fairly well maintained. So ownership is fantastic. The problem is some of the training staff. They act like THEY own the joint. They open so their friends can work out but tell us they aren't open when we try to go in. The trainers are awful about not cleaning up after themselves. Dumbbells on the ground. Weights left on bars. Not too mention the overuse of "gimmick" training. Makes me think of what Charles Polquin says about those kinds of trainers. They don't know HOW to make people stronger or leaner so they can only offer them gimmicks.

The classes are absolutely fantastic :-). I normally attend the kickboxing class and for the hour you are there your instructor will be attentive and give you a great workout. The actually machinery is easy to work with and the general environment doesn't shame you if you are not already extremely fit.

They have great classes and a wide selection of equipment. Month to month contract which makes it nice if you have college kids that like to work out too, they let them put it on hold while they are away.
