Texas Family Fitness - Coppell

Let me start out on saying that this is a very clean and good gym when it comes to equipment. But what made me mad is that recently I brought some friends to train with and one of them hasn’t trained last pull downs. So I was teaching him how to activate more lat than bicep and giving him some advice. We then moved on to other excersices like seal rows and deadlifts. When we where done with our workout my friend told me that he bought some classes for personal trainers at the gym, which I thought was fine but I don’t understand why he bought them because I can teach him fundamentals for free. Anyways when I was leaving (friends already left) I was stopped by a manager. The manager told me that I’m not aloud to give training advice to my friends because it would interrupt there business. Which is the actual dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life especially when I see the trainers doing low reps and like 1 set on exercises that don’t even match up. Sometimes they don’t even watch the client they might be looking away and saying “keep it up” or “way to go” when the client is doing the exercise completely wrong. I have seen a couple good trainers though, but only a couple times. Just wanted to give you my thoughts on there policies.

Terrible customer care. They have only 5 very old step-mills, which get broken every other day. The manager (Jack) says that they can't do anything, that we should call Corporate directly, but I have spoken 3 times with Daryl and nothing gets fixed. We need more and new machines. 2018 has been specially worse than ever, they have only two machines working at the time since they fired the maintenance guy. Very disappointed, I do not recommend anyone to enroll!

Best gym chain for my workout needs! They have multiple locations between here and Fort Worth, and I utilize several of them. Even with a lot of people, there is usually plenty of equipment to go around so you don't have to wait on anybody. At this location specifically, I wish they had a few more places for back squats.

Very poor customer service. Completely disappointed ! No one bothers about your concerns or about the customer. I wish I can give zero stars! They talk very well when you enroll and when you reach out with a concern, they just act ignorant and shows no care or concern! Would never recommend this place to anyone!

This rating is also for their corp customer service as well as billing company they use. I’ve been bounced back and fourth from billing service line, gym and corp service line. They are all great at referring you elsewhere. Talk to gym staff and they will tell you to call corp, call corp they will send you to billing, billing will send you back to corp or gym. Just awful, sickening customer service!
