I have been a patient with TV&LS for a few years and I am pleased with the care that I have received. My vision has issues but the problems are being managed well.

have mixed feelings about this office for several reasons. I was referred by my regular eye doctor to have a skin tag removed from my eye lid. I had this done once before about 14 years ago, and it was very scary. The previous experience freaked me out to the point of hyperventalation to go through it again. I broke down crying through the first appointment, several times between appointments, and throughout the appointment to get the procedure. There's the back story. The good: The doctor has a good bed side manner. He talked me though regulating my breathing after the injection in my eyelid caused me to hyperventalate. He gave me time to chill and was quick with the procedure. The receptionist was very sweet. She was kind when I broke down about a payment issue (see "the bad" below). The bad: My appointment was at 10am. I was told the procedure would only take about 15 minutes max, so with wait time a reasonable person would expect around an hour total, right? We didn't leave there until 12:30. I didn't even see the doctor until 12. TWO HOURS AFTER MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. Apparently this is normal, because another person in the dialation waiting room (btw I wasn't dialated, so no clue why we got to spend time there) said the last time he was there, his appointment was at 1pm and didn't see the doctor until 3:30. Payment issues- Are you going to use care credit?? Make sure your out of pocket is at least $500, or you are SOL. There was nothing posted that I could see stating a mandatory minimum so I had no other payment options on me. Thank God I have an awesome mom that paid over the phone with her card. But not everyone has that option. Also on payment, they are going to stick you with a $35 fee for an eye exam. Even if you just had one from a referring doctor. All fine and well to require another (even though I still think they should probably be able to trust another doctor that they take referrals from for something as simple as a regular exam), but damn, can you warn me first?? Also, I'm not sure why payment wasn't requested at my first appointment, instead it was tacked onto the bill right before the procedure at the second appointment. Lastly, someone came in prior to the procedure and said she was going to test my eye pressure. Cool. Done. Then she took a cotton swab and went for my eyelid. I didn't know what she was doing and jerked away. I'm already freaked the hell out, please don't make it worse by failing to explain that you were just going to put a topical numbing agent on my eye lid. Overall I'm just glad the procedure is done. If I get the same thing in the future I will probably go elsewhere, mainly because I felt my anxiety was ignored, outside the doctor reacting to my hyperventalation well. I felt like they were treating me as though I were a child throwing a tantrum. Sorry, but when your eyelid is getting a needle in it and subsequently skin is cut off it, it's a bit traumatic.

Dr. Bullajian did my Cataract Surgery recently and I was very pleased --he was so helpful explaining what to expect -- and it exceeded my expectations --I would recommend him to everyone--

I was referred to Dr. Bullajian for cataract surgery by my Optometrist, Dr. Eric Newberry, who I trust very much. The care I received at TX Vision & Laser was top shelf. I've had several appointments during the course of my cataract exams; before and follow up. Everyone in the office is well trained in the area they have to take care of. They execute their tasks with concern for you individually and efficiently yet quickly, because both locations are very busy. And BTW, they posted that they will be moving both offices to one central location in November, 2017, so that should make things even more efficient. I was well informed before I had cataract surgery. I received information to take home and think about. Then came back to the office where one of the staff discussed every detail of the procedure with my husband and myself. What kind of lenses I would choose, pre-op and post-op care for my eyes, where to go, what to expect and even a financial statement before I left the office. So I knew what to expect. And they answered any questions I had. I read all the reviews and I believe it's important to be well informed and ask questions. Dr. Bullajian was always, friendly, pleasant, professional, focused, and had time to answer any question I had. On the day of both surgeries he would stop by each patient (you could hear) individually have a few words with them and most importantly (to me) pray for each person. The follow up appointments in his office the next day included the same kind of care. He had time for every concern I had. And answered in a way that is easy to understand. My eyes have healed very well from the surgery, as I have followed all the care instructions. I now have very good near vision. And I will need just a little prescription for distance vision. I am happy with this conclusion. I've worn glasses all my life and now don't need them for reading. Every person is unique and their needs are different. I believe Dr. Bullijian understand this and does his best to work with every situation. One last thought. The staff warned me not to sacrifice the health of my eyes if the cost of eye drops became a problem. That I should let them know if that happened. I did and they provided samples for me to use. I highly recommend Dr. Bullajian and TX Vision & Laser.

He performed my LASIK and I couldn't be happier. He did a great job and my ophthalmologist can barely see the scar! Vision has held up. Highly recommend for LASIK.
