The Inn At Stonington

We stayed Dec 26-28 for a short getaway. Wonderful location, beautiful views. Request room 11! Very cozy yet offers all of the modern amenities. Google Home was a great touch, so much so that my partner probably had more conversation with it than with me lol. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Can not wait to go back!

The staff at the Inn at Stonington are some of the nicest people I have yet to meet. My husband and I recently spent a weekend here to celebrate our 40th anniversary. I had mentioned this in passing while booking the room thinking nothing of it. When we arrived we were greeted with an anniversary card, bottle of Prosecco, and jar of homemade granola. Our room was extremely comfortable and decorated in a way that made it easy to let go of all stress and relax. Although our room did not have a water view (These rooms had already been booked.) there were common rooms that did have amazing views of the harbor. Each morning, the continental breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and a wide variety of just baked items. The wine and cheese hour was a nice way to either interact with the other people staying at the inn or relax on your own. Restaurants were all within walking distance and the streets were lined with many quaint and eclectic shops. For people who need more stimulation, Mystic Seaport and Aquarium is only about a 10 minute drive. Originally my husband and I were looking to stay in Mystic but in the end chose to stay at The Inn at Stonington. I am so glad we did. Our everyday life is hectic and the quiet of this weekend afforded us time to just be present to each other. We had more time to talk to each other than we usually do, more time to take walks together than we usually do, and most importantly more time enjoy each other. Thank you Inn at Stonington for a most wonderful weekend.

My wife, Michelle and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at The Inn at Stonington. What better way to celebrate than with "family." We have been visiting the Inn for nearly 8 years. Whatever the season or weather, the welcome mat is always out. The entire staff is professional, kind, caring and thoughtful. They help with places to eat, transportation, local attractions and Borough history. They offer up a wonderful breakfast and great conversations, all with a smile. Want a no pressure get-away? Put The Inn on your list.

We stayed back in March as a close to home anniversary get away. The online pictures made me think the Inn was just what I was looking for. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendliest staff, the location was beautiful, and our room was perfect. Shops and eateries were close. We had a terrific time. Thank-you so much! We will return and refer for sure!

Just stayed this past weekend. The place and people are wonderful. We were in #19 and nothing was more beautiful than watching the snow storm through those gorgeous Windows with fireplace going. Heavenly.
