The Maids

My experience with The maids has been a terrible experience. I received a coupon in the mail and decided to use this company for there move out service. I filled out the online request for estimate sharing my apartment was 700 sq ft. I was called and quoted 175-262 dollars. When asking about the range of price i was informed that the price was based on the time spent. I scheduled for the cleaners to arrive around 3. When they had not shown up by 3:50 I called to clarify that they were still coming. I was told they never give exact times....? Anyways The cleaning team showed up at 4:19. While I waited I swept one room. The apartment had been well kept and was relatively clean. They cleaned the apartment and called me at 5:38 to tell me they were done . So they were there cleaning for about 50 minutes. I was charge 262 dollars. This is TOO much for the amount of time and the amount of work that was put forward ( my home was cleaned at the bare minimum, I had to scrub the tub after they left since it was a move out service and did not have time to wait for them to return the next day). They also forgot to apply the coupon that I had given to them over the phone and in person. They also never emailed or followed up with a receipt/ asking how the cleaning went. When calling to clarify the charge; my husband was told that the GPS said they were there for 90 minutes....They were not based on phone logs. They also said that since that was what I was quoted I don't have a right to dispute it. So in summary : 1. This company is not trust worthy for move out services ( reflected in my review as well as others) 2. This company is not reliable in their estimates/ understanding of what is need to clean a small home or complete a move out service. 3. This company is not reliable in arriving on time, and following through on conversations on the phone. 4. This company does not deliver quality services. ( My home was cleaned at the bare minimum.)

I was very disappointed in the service I received. There were too many things that were either not done properly or were not done at all. The ladies were very nice and polite, but based on the information I was given, the price was far too high for the service provided.

I've been a customer of the Maids of South Tampa for 10 years. They are careful and thorough and pleasant every visit. Now that I'm retired, we even take 2 minutes to chat before they get busy and I get out of the way. I recommend The Maids of South Tampa for your cleaning needs.

I call on "The Maids" when I need a good, in-depth cleaning of my house from top to bottom. They work hard and are very polite and efficient. The three ladies on the blue team were fabulous. I highly recommend "The Maids" for a spotless cleaning job. It sure did make my day!

I was away on vacation for 2wks.. called the local Maids services in my area.. was told 175 dollars for the first hr.for a team of 4 people deep cleaning from top to bottom. I paid in advance.. when I returned home an hour after they left.. I was very dissatisfied with the deep clean I paid for! First off they charged me 238.00 for 1 and a half hrs of service.. they never cleaned the kitchen blinds .. they did a very poor job of cleaning all window sills..when they cleaned the top of oven they put the stove dials back wrong.. they never cleaned master bedroom mirror over sink.. the master bedroom shower still had mold on tiles.. the headboard in master bedroom was not dusted.. the tv's in master bedroom and 2nd bedroom still had dust.. The floors were sticky.. I was so sad!.. I am a very clean person. . I know how to clean.. this is their profession.. do it right!.. Oh and the bedspread in master bedroom was put on with the design sideways..
