Excellent food. Had the eggs benidict with bacon and side of potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly and everything was so tasty. The bacon is house smoked and very strong but still good. Just in case you don't care for smoky taste, which I enjoyed. The potatoes are delicious, fried or roasted, not sure, but very good, not greasy at all.  My friends had sausage and gravy with scrambled eggs. They both agreed e ggs were very creamy. Sausage is smoked sausage and not country sausage. Biscuits are delicious but square, if that matters to you.  All that we ate was delicious, no complaints at all. Generous portions too. Our server, Michael was so friendly and helpful, answering questions. Great place will return.

I recently had a not so good experience with plaid apron and I was very unhappy as I had been going to this restaurant for years and at one point would have called them one of my favorites. However after posting my bad review the owner responded and I really appreciated his kindness to my criticism. Needless to say it was enough to convince us to return and I was very pleased to see some of my old favorites. Thanks guys!!!

Very nice brunch on Mothers' Day.  Delicious, not rushed on their busy day.  The food was very nicely prepared and presented.  I'm eager to return.  Joy Virden

Hidden gem in Knoxville! They're upscale take on Southern Cuisine is quite possibly unmatched by any other restaurant! I recently ate brunch here, and the steak and eggs with crispy taters was heavenly. I savored every morsel... but quickly! Our server, Cally, made excellent recommendations, and she was the most kind, friendly, and down-to-earth person. She kept our drinks filled and was attendant, but not overbearing. Wonderful experience all around, and I can't wait to eat here again, and it's definitely somewhere I will take friends and family and visitors!

Pretty cool atmosphere.. and the waitress was awesome. However, the food was really inconsistent. My girlfriend really loved her supergrain breakfast bowl (that is not at all what it is called, but it's the best I can do). I ordered a sausage omelet. They smoke their house sausage, and the smoke flavor was so overwhelming that I literally could not eat it. The server was really great and quickly switched it out for some scrambled eggs, but those game out under cooked and quite soupy. Again, the atmosphere and service were awesome. I think the kitchen could just use some tightening up.
