Winstead's American Grill & King of Pizza

Recently my folks moved to the area and we went to visit and came here on the way back home. So glad we did! The food is great with generous portions. Bring a wheelbarrow to have someone haul you to your car!

Discovered this gem going home from Chattanooga. Their bacon cheeseburgers are sooooo good! We had ordered the ribeye dinner last visit. It's not a thick cut of meat and normally asking for medium rare on a thinner cut, it doesn't happen. Here it did, and had a nice char on the outside even! It was so tender, with minimum fat. The baked potatoes are HUGE and if you get it fully loaded it's a meal in itself. Great sweet tea, onion rings and fries. Service has always been top notch. Can't wait until our next visit!

Th e food is great here. We had the cheese bread sticks they where amazing. Then I had the ribeye was really good. Needed a little more seasoning but was cook great. Danney had the cat fish said it was cook to perfection. Will definitely be back.

Best hamburger steak ever. Huge baked potatoes! I have never had anything else there, in 30 years, because it's left that much of an impression!

I have stopped there several times and live about 30 miles away, however on several different occasion I have waited several minutes to be seated and when the staff does come out they tell you to seat yourself even though the sign says wait. Two times after waiting up to 7 minutes to be seated I walked out. Last night included. The food has always been good, but service is horrible.
