Ruby Tuesday

Tasty food, good service. It is commonly a pleasant experience for a meal out. The menu does change so some items may not always be available but there is often something for everyone to enjoy.

My husband and I usually love this place. The one near us in Dickson, TN. The young girl that waited on us was terrible. She could have cared less if we were there or not. She must have been the thru for the day. She disappeared, not just on us, but all of her tables. We imagined she was doing side work instead of caring for her tables. Shame. The food was great, kudos to the kitchen. But a big thumbs down to the server and the manager on staff. Dirty dishes not being removed from the salad bar by either party...big turn off. We won't stop at Cookville Ruby Tuesday's again. Seeing that there are about 50 eateries on just this exit off interstate 40, you would think they would be more attentive to their patrons.

Came in at 2:27 pm on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by a nice young and he immediately sat me at my booth near the bar and kitchen things just went down hill from there. The restaurant had about 10 seated tables total and 7 minutes later I was approached by the bartender who took my order during those 7 minutes I had to listen to a group of 4 male employees (who seemed to be either changing shifts or taking a break) were seated 2 booths away near the kitchen as they discussed "who could take who in some fight or sport". I headed up to the Garden Bar to fix a salad plate and it was a complete disaster. (See my photos). I informed my server of the condition of the salad bar and as of 3:20 pm not a single employee has attended to it. My food came out at 2:50 pm and the grilled zucchini is not edible, the broccoli is cold and the salmon tastes and looks as if it has been cooked on a grill that has not been cleaned in weeks. The lady who appears to be the manager on duty is on her cell phone sharing a photo with other employees hanging out in the bar area. My waitress did check on me several times and had a great attitude and a sweet smile for which I am very grateful and I just didn't want to tell her how disappointed I was. The music coming out of the kitchen was way to loud and overpowered the soft music playing in the restaurant. I won't be back.

It was nice, typical Ruby Tuesday. We went for lunch and ordered burgers. Due to the weather they were under staffed so we ended up being waited on by the bartender and she was awesome. She had great recommendations and got our complicated order right to perfection

Salad bar is great. Only a few diners, but service was slow
