Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center

Sam and the guys at Tuffy have kept my crappy fleet on the road for many years now. They are reasonably priced and honest. There has been one instance in which I doubted them. I took the car for a second opinion, and their diagnosis was confirmed.

I am really astonished at some of the reviews. Sam, James and the entire staff are the most honest, trustworthy mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with and I'm in my 60's. I will never go anywhere else, nor will my daughters who also go there. They are so professional and pricing is cheaper than other places by far. I feel like family there and trust my own family to be taken care of there.

Unless you got deep pockets don't bother taking your car to these guys. They tried telling me I needed a transmission a year ago on my work van that I never ended up needing. My father just took my mother's truck to them recently and when he got it back the radio didn't work and it had a bunch of lights on the dashboard lit up which weren't on before. On top of charging an arm and a leg for the work they did instead of of fixing it they made up a bs story about being told that the truck sat for mounths not working which they completely made up. I told my him not to take it to these crooks but he didn't listen now he knows not to in the future. If you need a mechanic take your car to a place called ARANDAS auto repair on Caton farm Rd. In Shorewood IL. It's a little bit of a ride but they are honest guys that don't bs and do great work for reasonable prices. I've been dealing with them since I had my bad experience with them and haven't had any issues. I have referred plenty of people to them too and had nothing but positive feedback

I had a coupon for a $40 oil change and they said ohh well itll actually be $55 due to the amount of oil and etc. I get the same thing done at the dealer ship for $45. Never again will i go here

Highly recommended! They mean business and take care of it! Very customer oriented. Trust worthy. Very very good value as well.
