Uptown Beauty Lounge

I had mistakenly booked a lash fill instead of a set, which I admit was a dumb mistake. I had 3 other appointments there that day & instead of trying to accommodate me I had to wait across the street in Starbucks for an hour waiting for my next appointment. The lady I had for waxing was very nice and funny. She did a good job on my legs but an awful job on the bikini. I think more skin came off than hair. I had an allergic reaction to the wax and now have a big and itchy rash from my crotch to my ankles for prom. No hair was removed in between my legs. When it was time to pay I had to run to the bank because their debit machine was down & come back to pay. I was a bit annoyed that the one girl considered making me pay 25% for the lashes that I hadn’t cancelled but had mistakenly booked too short of a time for. They didn’t end up making me pay for it thank god. But I payed $100 dollars for waxing and ended up having to shave first thing when I got home anyways. The service I received was NOT WORTH the $100 spent. A response to the owner: Yes I do agree I was given every opportunity to voice my concerns while I was at the salon. I didn’t have a problem waiting because I assumed it would be worth the wait... which I found out later it was not. As for the waxing I had not noticed the raised bumps or the rash and patches of hair until I got home.

This a a great place to go to get anything beauty restated done! It's such a nice atmosphere, with very friendly and professional employees. They make sure you are satisfied with the service and always do a great job! My favourite place to go for sure!

I am editing my previous post of only rating it two starts. Marci heard my concerns, and was determined to show me how great the services were at the beauty lounge. I was given an amazing facial by Charlotte, who was very experienced and knowledgeable about the Dermalogica products that she was using, and she walked me through every step she took and took the the time to get to know my skin concerns. Because of her and Marci's care, I would now happily go back. Great and fast customer service. (No, she did not ask me to fix my review)

Marci and Charlotte are extremely knowledgeable and have educated me on proper lash care. This is the first time in 3 years that I have had my lash extensions grow out to see that my real lashes are STILL THERE! When I was seeing another lash tech and let my lashes grow out, I was left with brittle, short and even broken lashes. Marci and Charlotte provide an extremely professional and educational service. They make sure that the lashes are the proper length and width for what your lashes can handle so that they're not damaged in the future. I am thoroughly impressed that I have zero damage to my lashes since I started seeing the lash techs at Uptown Beauty Lounge. I am a life long and happy customer!

Uptown Beauty Lounge did hair and make up for myself and wedding party a few months back. For a small fee the ladies accommodated my Sunday wedding and even came to our hotel. Both ladies were great and very professional. Pricing was fairly reasonable and we were very happy with our end results!!!
