Utah Home Health & Hospice

Be very careful when you entrust this company to take care of your loved ones. I know that taking care of your loved ones can be extremely challenging and difficult but this companies solution to many problems is drugs and more drugs. My Grandpa was capable of holding a conversation. Capable of walking. Capable of going to the bathroom on his own. Capable of showering himself. We hired the company to come in and just spend time with our Grandpa so that my Grandma was able to go to the store and just have a small break from him. The nurse Karen came in and decided that my Grandpa no longer needed to take the medication his neurologist and cardiologist had previously told him to take. She also decided to give him some medicine to make it so he would sleep better at night as well as be less angry. (Which he wasn't doing any harm to anyone.) This change in medicine led to a rapid decline in his life. He started having a difficulty walking, stopped being able to have intelligent conversations, stopped being able to go to the bathroom on his own. This led to us having to put him in a home. When we made arrangements to put him in the home the hospice actually tried to get the home to not accept us as patients. This company puts there noses where it doesn't belong. The aid Karen upset that we were able to put him in the home decided that he still was being aggressive (which there was no record of him being agresive) so she upped his dosage by over 5 times... This led to him now having to use a walker and having to wear a diaper... When the care center figured out what happened they immediately informed us and we fired this company. We are still working to change his medication back and hoping that his Independence and lifestyle will improve as the drugs get out of your system. If you want your loved ones to decline quickly by having untrained professionals make decisions that will lead to your loved ones dying quickly then you should hire this company. If you love your loved ones I would avoid this company at all costs! I have never delt with a more unprofessional company... If I believed that there was any chance I could sue them into oblivion I would... Unfortunately my family signed so many consent forms there is nothing I can do. I want the world to know not to hire this company so that you can avoid the mistake my family did. Please please please listen to my warning. You do not want this company in your home with your loved ones. They will be responsible for quickly killing them. If you want them to have a dignified last phase of there life you should find another company to help you. Do not hire this company. ------- Update 3/7 I sent an email per there request in reply to my review and no response was given to me and no action taken. They really don't care. Again please take my advice and don't hire this company. Update 3/25 No action was taken on the employee. She continues to go into people's homes and destroy there lives. Don't hire this company.

This company has changed mine and my family's life for the better. The staff is amazing and they go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience as you are going through this time in your life. Utah Home Health and Hospice is my number one recommendation to anyone searching for home health or hospice, they are professional and truly care about the patient and their needs.

I would highly recommend Utah Home Health and Hospice!! Each employee is willing to go above and beyond to give the best quality of care that they possibly can. Everyone that I have met in this company has a smile on their face and loves what they do. Helping others! From personal experience that is exactly what they do. If your wondering what company to use don't hesitate to use them. You'll be glad you did!

The best home health company in the state. They have over 20 years of experience and have the nicest and most qualified nurses, therapists and aids.
