Not originally from the area, still have out of state plates. I got three quotes from three different companies and all were around the same price. I know a lot about cars and knew that the quotes were too high to have a water pump and rear sway bar bushings replaced. I felt like this was the only place that charge a reasonable amount and quick service. Plus, they did work that two other mechanics refused to do. There was a hiccup with my card being charged two different amounts, but they straightened it out the next day without a hassle. This is my new mechanic, and I won’t go anywhere else. Thank you so much for treating me right!!!

Was having problems with my steering wheel shaking when I reached a speed of 60 mph. Brought it to Scott and he knew exactly what the problem was. He's the best!

2 sons now run the garage that their father opened over 50 years ago. They do a good job for their customers, they are up front & honest, and they won't surprise you with a "oh by the way, we found something else & just fixed it. That will be an extra $200". They do inspection stickers & sell used cars as well. I highly recommend them.

I was in trouble with the timing of a muffler issue and due for an inspection soon. On a short budget, I was able to get in touch with West Lynn Auto during a busy work day (in a panic), was reassured there would be time to look at my car and give me a free quote. The next day I dropped in without an appointment and within minutes got a tour of the undercarriage of my car, including diagnostics and repair options that fit into my budget. The icing on the cake was that it was repaired while I waited AND passed inspection. Phew! What a relief before this busy (and costly) holiday season! I could not have been in better hands and would not hesitate to be a repeat customer! No more drives to my old mechanic in Maine, there are trustworthy folks locally!
