This review is for maintenance done by Steve Cymbalista. He came out to fix our AC on a holiday weekend with temps in the high 90s. Went above and beyond to get the right part and install it as fast as possible. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Even gave us tips to keep our AC running more efficiently. If we ever need help in the future, I hope it’s Steve that comes to our rescue!

This review is for the maintenance work performed by Steve Cymbalista. Steve came out today and was an amazing help. He was able to get our refrigerator up and running where other servicing agents from a different company continued to give us a run around and would not fully fix the issues. Steve worked quickly, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above the call of service by making the water flow even better on our fridge by replacing a faulty valve. Overall Steve did an incredible job and I could not be more thankful.

UPDATE: It has now been 8 months since I lived in one of their properties. I have been fighting with them for 8 months to get my information removed so they would stop contacting me and harassing me. I was assured that all my contact information had been removed from their records. Today I got yet another email that the current tenant is locked out. I have no idea why this is my problem considering I HAVENT LIVED THERE IN 8 MONTHS. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. I moved out of my apartment in November and had someone else take over my lease. They were extremely difficult through that whole process. In January they charged me rent for an apartment I wasn’t living in and wouldn’t refund my money. Yesterday they called asking that I sign the lease renewal they emailed me, even though, as previously stated numerous times, I don’t live there. This morning I woke up to another email asking me to sign the lease renewal. This company is completely mismanaged and I would not recommend renting from them.

This review is for Vicki Melvin, in particular. She was amazing throughout our apartment hunt, showing us the unit we wanted to see, as well as another that was on the market and very similar! Vicki is very personable and friendly, but matter-of-fact in her knowledge of the building and the surrounding area. She answered all of our questions and was patient as we took our time looking over the units. She was very accommodating and made the lease possible, despite being stuck in our current lease for a few months. She has always been very prompt in responding to emails and questions. If I need something done, I know that Vicki will get it done as soon as possible! While I haven't interacted with many of the other staff yet at Wistar Group, Vicki and Emerson have been very attentive and it seems that they care a great deal about the residents that are in their buildings. Before even signing the lease, Emerson called to introduce himself and ask if we had any questions. It's small gestures like that that make me feel like we have made a great choice in leasing with this group!

Vicki was an absolute joy to work with. She was genuinely concerned about helping us get into a place that would suit us. We got the keys to our new home today and we couldn’t be more excited! :)
