World Foods International Grocery and Delicatessen

I had the Reuben and my husband had the Italian Sausage sandwich. Both were fresh, delicious...excellent! This is more of a delicatessen than a store. It has only 5 bistro tables with 3-5 chairs at each. This is not a fast food place....so take your time. See if it is crowded. We went around 2:30 on a Wednesday....only one other table occupied with other patrons stopping by to pick up a slice of pizza, sandwich or other goodies. We had 2 sandwiches, 2 canned cokes, 1 bag of chips for $21. Worth it! Nice and clean unisex bathroom. Not really a place for children (no where to run around.)

I recently moved to the Cookeville area and did a search for gyro near me. Lovely place! Great food. The freshest sandwich i have had. My gyro wasn't greasy like most places. A1 customer service. I will definitely be coming back.

Great little restaurant hidden away in Cookeville. I ordered the basics - gyro and a piece of Baklava. Both were delicious. I found my new go-to eatery in Cookeville.
