Delicious! We enjoyed everything on each the plate. Everything was hot and fresh. Service was excellent will definitely be back! Took a sit at the bar while waiting for our food. Everything was timed perfectly and the cocktail was great. There will be a little wait due to food being cooked to order. People really started coming in after we arrived, lucky we got there when we did.
First time the did brunch and we were the first ones there. Had a pineapple mimosa can alao get it with OJ or cranberry juice and it was good just not enough of it for $6.00. I had the chicken and regular waffles can also get red velvet waffles. The chicken wings were good and crispy, but there was some taste in the waffles that threw it all off. We also had both shrimp and grits, and fish and grits. Both had brown gravy. Both were good, but the gravy was way too salty. The orders came out one at a time with gaps in between. Two people had finished eating before the rest of us got our food. They need more kitchen and wait staff if the are going to be to handle a brunch rush. Have to do better on getting order correct as well. Several had to return their meals because it wasn't what they ordered. Parking: Located in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking
I'll start with... WOW! This place is awesome, great menu, good prices, friendly staff and wow again the food is Delicious!!!! Chicken is breaded, seasoned and fried just right. Collard's were seasoned to perfection. You have to try the Mac and cheese should be cheese and Mac...SO good! Can't go wrong unless you don't go! mmmmm
Came on my lunch break because a coworker was raving abt the place so I knew I had to try. I was not disappointed. I tried the chicken and fish combo and it was seasoned to perfection. The sweet tea was perfectly sweetened and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely go back.
The Mac and cheese could use a little more flavor but the rest of the food was delicious. Especially the sweet potatoes, and I love the shrimp. It was my first time getting the chicken and it was really good.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: No

I placed my order online and received confirmation email that my order would be ready in 25 minutes. Upon arrival... Not ready. I give my name, they confirm the order and ask me to sit. I do. And I wait..... Patiently for 30 MINUTES before I approach the counter to voice my concern. To which the server tried to sit me down again until I showed my email confirmation. It is now 4:45 PM and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FOOD OR BEEN ACKNOWLEDGE!!! MANY OTHERS HAVE COME IN WAVES TO PICK UP ONLINE AND ORDERS PLACED AT THE COUNTER IN FRONT OF MY FACE!!! DONE!!!!! My wings were STILL WRONG and they were out of an item ordered::5:03PM I FINALLY LEAVING...FOR THE LAST TIME
This place is off the chain! I was beyond satisfied. We were in the banquet room to celebrate the 91st Birthday of my Aunt. Everything was well beyond my expectations. The staff was excellent and no matter who you spoke with they were polite, and knowledgeable. They made us feel comfortable. The food---EXCELLENT!!!! We even had a cash bar for guests. The bartender, Sonya did an excellent job as well. We were even invited back by the owner for a great evening of entertainment with a great band. I really had a great time. When I visit Charlotte again I am going to need some chicken and a catfish sandwich sandwich.
The best fried chicken on this side of town. Crispy and crunchy and juicy!! You won’t find better for sure. This place is comparable to Mr Cs and Price chicken downtown. If you dine in, expect a 3.5 star review. Each time I’ve gone, it’s just always a long wait. If they servers were friendly I might be able to overlook that but they “just work there” if you know what I mean.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere at Mr. Charles chicken and Fish. I ordered the chicken dinner and my chicken was delicious!!! I couldn't eat the cabbage or collard greens because they both were spicy. The mac and cheese was also good. The service was good but my server was being pulled in too many directions till I was left waiting for every request I asked right down to just trying to get checked out. Overall, I do plan to visit again. With all the traffic they had, lots of people must like spicy collards and cabbage. Kudos Mr. Charles
