Pepper's Louisiana Kitchen

This little place is a GEM!! Although it is warm inside, I will bear it for the delicious food served. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I drove 23 miles 2 days in a row, and today will be my 3rd day. My husband is hooked!

Unprofessional, the first time i ordered from them through DoorDash they accepted the order and closed an hour early stating they ran out of food and told me to call DoorDash for a refund. The second time i ordered they toke over 2 hours to prepare catfish and shrimp with red beans and rice , they called me stating they ran out of shrimp, when i received my food they ended up giving me catfish and okra with some unidentifiable mess with my drink in a soup cup? No silver ware no napkins nor did they tell me they completely ran out of everything i asked for including rice and beans and apparently cups ?! This is disappointing to the max and super classless i tried to give them a call but of course they didn’t pick up the phone .

I had a wonderful experience at Peppers! The food was AMAZING and the service was great! My meal was authentic and timely. The owners are super sweet. Wish I ordered 2 plates..one for now and one for later lol. I've never been to Louisiana, but perhaps I've been tonight!

The food was amazing! Catfish melted in my mouth. I don’t typically like cole slaw, but the cole slaw was amazing as well. My daughter had the wings and she is a hard sell, but absolutely loved them. Quick and very friendly service. My whole family had a great experience and we will definitely be regular customers.

Great first time experience at this very new restaurant! It's been open a few weeks only but, the food was delicious. Lighting could be better inside and having a few more drink options, but back to the food. We had the seafood etoufee and the shrimp and catfish nugget entrees. Really good, big portions. We shall definitely return once they've gotten some additional things worked out. Service was excellent also!

This was our first time, and the owner/chef warmly greeted us. As we were checking out the menu, he brought us samples of the shrimp & corn soup. It was delicious! The specials change daily, and we ordered jalepenos poppers with fish for an appetizer. We enjoyed it, and especially liked the sauce that the chef makes himself. My husband ordered the shrimp poboy, which had soooooo much shrimp! He loved it! I had the red beans and rice, which was also good. As a surprise, the chef brought us bread pudding to try for dessert. Loved it! It is a small restaurant, and it was not busy on Tuesday, but he said they are busy on the weekends. We will definitely be back.

I had to log into a different account and leave another review. I ate here again today for the second day in a row and my experience was even better this time. I eat out twice a day when I have travelled for work and have been to hundreds of restaurants and this is easily the best place I have been too. I took a couple of friends here and Pepper hooked us up with a TON of devious food. Each thing that came out was better than the last thing. Definitely do yourself a favor and be adventurous when you come here. You won’t regret it.

Lovely establishment, I got a chance to meet Mr. Peppers himself and Rae. This restaurant is going to go very far and the food is great. Great staff and hospitality what's on point.

I had the fried whitings, shrimp, fries, and cole slaw. Most of the food was good but nothing really special to me. The cole slaw was not good at all- could not even eat it. I felt it was a little pricey for the portion. Nothing special about the atmosphere and the service was a little slow. I plan on going back to try the Gumbo. Hopefully my review will get better once I try the authentic Louisiana Gumbo.....

Good food, but baby portions. I mean the amount of red beans and rice you could feed a 7 month old baby .THE baby would still be hungry. I took my wife with me, we both were hungry after eating there. I ordered catfish ,potato salad, and fries . The server gave me red beans and rice instead of French fries. The catfish was 3strips , not whole fish. That equals 1 very small fish and a half. The potato salad was delicious, but again baby portions. I like to support mom and pop restaurants. That will be my first and last time. My family will be going to Poboys as usual for seafood.
