Sunflower Family Restaurant

This is my favorite place to eat breakfast nearby. The waffles are very good and very sweet. I always order the country fried steak and it's always great. The gravy is good too and not too floury. I've taken several people here and they always love the food. The only drawback is that the seating isn't the best for large groups. Always great service too.

First off I have not paid $21 for 2 ppl in a longgg time lol I thought it was an error especially for how good the food was . The place looks like a little basement Diner but the Food , Service and price made up for that. We Whiting eggs and grits and Salmon cake with eggs and grits with cheese and 2 Arnold Palmers and it was $21 dollars y’all and taste FANTASTIC.. I left fat n full…will definitely be back!!

Got the All American so I could sample a few things. The hotcakes were perfect even without syrup. But the grits were superb. Best I’ve had in NC!

From out of state, we like to try local mom and pop diners and this one was AMAZING. Make sure to order their biscuits because they are OUT OF THIS WORLD! If we ever visit Charlotte again this will be our stop. Very reasonable prices, fast service, caring and kind staff members. The diner was clean and homey with great decorations throughout the diner. Recommend to anyone as they have enough on their menus to satisfy anyone. Great job Sunflower Family Restaurant.

The staff is so friendly! The food is definitely prepared with love! The grits were awesome! The pork chops and fish were delicious! Found our new spot for breakfast!

I cannot rave about this breakfast food enough I love good food and this restaurant does not disappoint! Food is amazing and service makes you feel like family consider me a regular from now on

A "Must Stop" everytime I come to Charlotte. Homestyle feel and home cooked taste. Also the best grits I've ever had!

If there was more stars I would add more. The multi cultural dishes they serve are amazingly delicious. Very friendly and familiar environment. Don't matter how you look like or where you came from you feel like loving family member. Absolutely professional and you can feel positive vive. This is my second time and I'm loving it

Great food, the waitress forgot to add an item to the ticket but everyone makes mistakes. Never ran out of coffee or water, eggs were great and the grits are ON POINT. Best service and food you can get, for the price. Will return.
