This military heritage site which dates back to the South African War Era, is part of the Voortrekker monument experience. Great for a quick outing with excellent views of the Pretoria area.

Very interesting place . I did my basic army in 1968 in Kimberly. I was then posted to Hillcrest Comando. Comondant Wilkens was our commanding officer. To my happiness I saw a trophy that was handed over to Comodant Wilkens.Visited onWeekend

This place is awesome. Rich in history and teeming with nature. If you have the privilege of visiting on the last Sunday of every month, get ready to have the time of your life at Park Acoustics, one of Pretoria's favourite music shows right there in the bush. So much love!

This well preserved Fort set within the boundries of the Voor Treker Monument is well worth a visit. The views of Pretoria and looking back at the VTM are well worth it and is included in your gate entry fee paid for visiting the VTM.

Small fort located next to the voortrekker monument. Has nice views Pretoria. A bit of history but not much to see.
