Visit the museum with the whole family. Learn about the history of South Africa. A beautiful exhibition well presented. Take at least 4 hours to have the full experience and go through most of the information.
The best place to be, I discovered the new side that I had no idea about its called "The restaurant side" the melody, pictures, videos and everything else is for your eyes to see Go check it out
Very Nice Heritage site to visit with the kids to give them some insight of where South Africa is coming from, what visions is portrait their is a bit forgotten today but it's a great place of learning for our kids to show them what we had and has done in our younger days in comparison to today technology. Staff is very helpful and very much polite. Had a great lunch at their restaurant and it was also priced very well. A truly need to visit site.
A worthwhile outing for a Saturday or Sunday. Some interesting history there. Be prepared to walk of you are going to the park which I would highly recommend. Very relaxing and a good 360 degree view of Pretoria and surrounds. The park and museum is very wheel chair friendly, but you are going to walk......Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
We had a greater time attending the Annual Ubuntu Festival The atmosphere was amazing This is a must visit site.
Realy nice to see some culture. The restaurant and bar was closed, but still worth a walk. Friendly staff, but no guides to walk you through the park. It was clean and safe.

This is one of the best places in Pretoria, you will enjoy every second spend there. I like how our African culture and origin is portrait and respected. It has a breathtaking view of the whole of Pretoria. Put on your comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk
Back in the days in South Africa, we went to Freedom Park H.S with some friends of mine. We took a tour of the park , thanks to those who set this heritage site , a lot of history, discovery and teaching throughout evry corner of that park. I'm pretty proud to say that I have been to such a great place.
Making people walk up all that way when the drop off point could've easily been at the parking at top, really it wasn't nice. But otherwise a beautiful day
