When phoning, they indicated the hours as 08:00 to 16:00 for Police Clearance finger prints, but posted on the door outside they apparently stop at 14:00. Despite arriving at 13:15, nobody in sight, door locked as staff had gone off for sports....
Have had to visit SAPS Honeydew twice now and WOW what amazing staff Well done to all of you for setting an example to all other police stations. I was pleasantly surprised by all the welcoming, friendly faces, professionalism and just an all round great experience. Keep it up.
My husband and i just came in to have quite a few documents certified. The constable that assisted us was very friendly and helpful she was so fast and effecient we were out of there within 5 minutes and still had a lovely chat with her. This is the type of service we expect and appreciate from the SAPS
They open a case file for you, a painfully long process after a very long wait, then close it after a month with no investigations or engagement with you whatsoever. You findd that out when you go follow up. They don't answer calls. This happens with all four cases I reported. Useless!
What a welcome surprise, I was treated like a guest more than a nuisance. They were swift with their response and were exceptionally friendly, professional and courteous. Thanks all who worked there today and good luck with all your other cases
Walked in and was immediately shouted at by a female officer asking me to move because I was standing in the way of the cleaning lady sweeping. I was so embarrassed and stunned at how rude the officer was that I just left….Mind you this whole encounter occurred in less than a minute. Pathetic service!
I wouldn't normally expect good service, however today I was impressed with the service I had recieved. I had reported my car stolen, the constable I think it was Constable Chauke who was helping me was friendly and helpful. Later today I recieved the case number. Very impressed!
Unfortunately it's not possible to give zero stars! To say the service is pathetic is still being generous. My security company came to our office today at 5.30 PM responding to a break in. A call was logged for a SAPS vehicle to come to the premises so that we may open a case. Our business is a mear 5 minutes down the same road from the police station. After multiple calls, twice of which we were informed they were lost and were coming back and one saying we will have to wait as they actually only have one car, they never even showed up by 11pm. It's disgusting to say the least!
Their service is so poor I registered a case on the 3.2.2021 still the sergeant that deal with my case haven't contacted me I called several times, last week I was told she will be in this week I must call Monday, Monday comes she will return to work on the 1.03.2021 the reason for them to allocate a case to someone who is on leave I don't understand, they advise my matter will be refer to the person that sergeant report too he wi give me a call back with update still nothing so today I called cell rings with no answer. And yet they need to protects us as our police but they don't do that
One of the worst run and incompetent stations. No urgency and slow service. The apathy of the officers is appalling. Why am I paying taxes, when I still have to beg to be served?
