Firstly, I couldn't walk no one cared to push me on the willchair and they required me to go pee so that they can test my urine. Secondly, there's less securities on the passages, one could just fall and Noone would know immediately and how do you let an unfit patient walk passages alone. Thirdly, I was now admitted, being provided the regular pain meds and other tablets, so on this day I had been vomiting the entire day and in alot pain and no one attended to me and then later on the day a nurse came with a pill called tramadol for me to drink and I started vomiting immediately and the only thing she cared about was how expensive the pill is, what a waste, she literally went on n on whilst I was losing my breath..listen I'm paying my medical aid am done with public services
I would like to take this opportunity and thank the nightshift nurses, securities and the lovely old lady that was on the reception in the morning of 8th March 2023. They saved my little boy's life I would forever be great full, I'm one of the people who use to throw stones and government entities especially hospital and home affairs but today I humble myself in front the hospital staff sorry for doubting your skills and abilities and thenk you for taking a good care of my child. I thank you so much I lost words to describe my satisfaction
Gave birth to my son 2015,I felt like I was in private hospital.Keep up the good work!! People do not know how the trauma emergency work. I was also there with my husband in 2017,around 20:00,I thought those guys shot him because he was bleeding but Doctor and the nurse checked him and said it's just a laceration there is no bullet hole. They did the 1st aid,I had to wait because they had to see other emergencies. He was able to suture him around 00:00 and there was nothing wrong about the waiting time because they were not sitting at all, they attending other patients that have serious injuries more than him.
I don’t like the service . The nurses ain’t helping all they do is just sit there like nothing is happening , patients sleep on the cold chairs while waiting to be helped . My pregnant girlfriend slept on those cold chairs . She gave birth at home weeks after she went there and the baby was a premature she was transferred to KDH on the 17th May 2022 and on the 18th May the baby passed away they didn’t even drain the blood that was coming out of the babies mouth , they really didn’t give us hope that the baby will be better. They even told my girlfriend that they won’t be able to help the child since she had a seizure and we didn’t really understand how but there are plenty of doctors and nurses that could help . Even one of the nurses refused to help my baby when the doctor asked her to give the baby injection I really don’t understand and I will sue the hospital cause they really don’t care . This is enough!
I was at Labour ward 2022 September 02 accompanying someone. We were attended to the minute we entered and everyone was friendly and helpful from the security at the gate ,clerks, nurses and doctors.Thank you so much Khayelitsha Hospital for your outstanding service keep up the good work.Your services are appreciated.
The service I received was outstanding, excellent work to the nurses and doctors. Highly recommend this hospital
-10 000 badly horrible I would recommend not coming here unless you want to die
Worst service ever, you would think they studied to care for ill but NO... I'm here at the Hospital with my brother as we speak with no sign of being helped, he was here on Wednesday, when we brought him he couldn't breath but we had to wait for him to be triaged, that is why your Hospital has so many death rate..you guys don't care. My aunt died here a couple of years back in this freaking triage room waiting for a doctor...this needs to be improved, come on people, we have the biggest Hospital in Khayelitsha...don't embarrass us please.
I'm not happy, poor service, they would watch you die in front of them
Good morning. My brother is in your hospital my mother has not seen him since he was admitted. I don't think you are a bad hospital in fact we need more such hospital in locations I am staying in Pretoria and I wish your hospital could be in GA Rankuwa. My complaint is the fact that my mother is not allowed just to see her own son how is she suppose to sleep at night. We understand it is Covid but do sanitize the people at the door and do your screening then 1 person can surely be allowed in wearing a mask to see her child. Please I beg for my family to have some peace of mind please let my mother in to see her son. Please we beg.
