Kliptown Magistrate Court

I had a really good experience at this court. From the security to the clerk, to the judge. Twice, for two different applications. All the staff are friendly, offer good advice and process applications fast. I cleared my entire day, becaue i was of the assumption that it would take all day. Little did i know their processes and procedures are on point.

I accompanied a friend of mine that is a Prosecutor to the Court in Kliptown its not like it use to be they're very security conscious

Going to court is not a nice day

Court is not a fun place for any reason. The only time u feel that u are not spoken down to is when they ask do u require legal representation. This is in the shoes of a complainant. They are there to deal with the symptoms of society and do not consider the route of people's problems like mitigating circumstances. No wonder so many ills in society.The facilities well they serve there purpose.

Was assisted by a very loud, bubbly lady who I think should consider singing as a hobby or career. She was wearing a mask so I don't how she really looks like, forgot to ask her name too. Anyway, Sisi osikuphe iLift to Ghandi lol, ngithi nje Thanks once again.

Ni access for people to sit as they que to be helped sewrage an dirty water running in front of if gate security say people eg personel not at court gine h9me fir lunch notice says court opens 9am to 4.15 but at 3pm its close

They work are in order

Kliptown Court is easy to find the and the Registrars are always very helpful. The Magistrates in the various courts are approachable, professional and knowledgeable.

The official who work there are not friendly. It seems they have forgotten that they are dealing with the public and information must be easily available
