Excellent staff during booking process and onsite, extremely friendly and service minded! Lovely and small scale hotel. Conveniently located in Tamboerskloof, short walk from shops & restaurants. Hotel & rooms are beautifully decorated in boutique style. We had a room next to street level which at times could be noisy, but was thankfully not a very busy street. Definitely recommend staying here!
In a word - disappointing. From the reviews and the photos you would think that you are going to stay at a luxury hotel. In reality there are many factors contributing to the low score I attributed to this place. 1 in South Africa they shut off the electricity about 3 times a day for 4 hours at a time it is called load shedding most hotels have generators so guests don’t have to be bothered by it. This hotel does not have it so you will not be able to charge your phone or use the air conditioner. 2 Our room key was an old school metal key and the lock was rusty so we would have to really try hard to lock and unlock the door every time 3 Our room had a screen door that faces the common area with a simple lock on it that anyone could open if they really wanted to - that made me feel very unsafe 4 We were under the lobby and could hear everyone coming and going No matter where you go - Make sure to call before and ask if they have generators. Side note: staff was amazing and super friendly
My friend and I were recently at this accommodation. It's beautiful and has very friendly, helpful staff. The downside of it is that it has no backup for loadshedding, and it also wasn't entirely clean. Don't ask me what I was doing under the bed, but it was filthy. Otherwise, if I had to visit it again? Would be when there's backup power.
The room with jacuzzi not very private even when they advertise it as is... for a 5 star better towels needed! Overall it's ok but definitely not 5 star sadly.Rooms: 2/5
They claim to be 5 * but 3* would just suffice. Nice room, a bit dated. Service awfully slow. Nice spa and pool. Location is what brings the rate higher!

My girlfriend and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary there we had booked a spa treatment the couples package, when we arrived at the spa we were welcomed with Champagne and chocolates, the treatment and the therapist were amazing. It was a great way to kick off the weekend, when we went to check in we were welcomed to the hotel with another glass of champagne and was taken to our room which was really big and they had gone the extra step of putting rose petals around the room for us. Over all the staff were fantastic and friendly the hotel was clean and safe the room was big and the breakfast the next morning was great. We will definitely be going back to stay there it made our anniversary really special. Thank you

Such a lovely boutique hotel! I would not call it spa the room is very nice, there is all you need. The service is super friendly! There is also parking space available, good wifi in the looby mostly. I didnt had breakfast because it did not look very delicious and also there are so many places you can go in this are
Apart from the bubbly and the beautiful rooms and an amazing spa experience, the staff at this place was exceptional. Due to loadshedding the power outage created an short on the hot tub and the bubble jets could not work the heating worked . We informed the staff and the staff was willing to get someone to come and fix this issue on a Sunday evening at about 18H00. That being said. The staff truly will walk miles to ensure that you are having an fantastic stay, being very very polite, funny as well as catering to your every need. Also the flower petals throughout the room upon arrival for our honeymoon was a very sweet touch. We were sad to leave. Amazing experience!!!
