Van Zyl's Vlei

Fantastic. Owner was incredibly friendly and even assisted us in choosing a restaurant in town. The accommodation was great for the stop over with the pool being an added advantage on such a hot day. All linen was squeaky clean, beds comfy and the bore hole water was refreshing. We would certainly plan on staying here again on our way to capetown.

Lovely quiet place. Clean rooms, air-conditioning in the main rooms. Unfortunately I was not able to get the hot water working for my shower despite being told to run the baths hot tap first. They are just outside of Colesburg with seemingly nothing else around which was a little scary arriving after dark.Rooms: 5/5

Wonderful hosts. You arrive as a stranger and leave as friends. Lovely quiet place. Clean rooms, air-conditioning for the cold nights. Good food. My hubby & I and our dogs , stayed there on our way to JHB & then again on our way home to CT. Highly recommend it Rooms: 5/5
