24/7 Walk-In Crisis Services - SummitStone Health

Every time I have a break down with serious suicidal thoughts I come here because it was mentioned as a place to help. And each time I regret it because the staff does nothing. Two times I was extremely unstable and in the worse mindset and they just let me wander off into the night. They don’t care about your well being and even though you’re in crisis don’t accept the responsibility of making sure you don’t hurt yourself. If I wasnt strong mentally, and committed suicide, I’d hope they’d get in trouble for just letting me walk out the door when I came to them for help. But they probably wouldn’t. Don’t go here. An ER does better job of getting you help and assistance than this place. At this point I’d rather turn myself in to jail and tell them I need to be temporarily detained

The name crisis center is very misleading. If you're truly experiencing a crisis avoid this place, go straight to the emergency room instead. This place is where you go if you need to talk to a therapist without an appointment. That's the only service they provide. They will call the police or hospital if you're truly having a crisis. They can't give medical attention or prevent someone from leaving. You will wait 10-20 minutes to see a therapist.
