Alamo Rent A Car

Great experience with Alamo. They have some of the best vehicles in the fleet. We personally had a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban which was perfect for touring everything the local Wyoming area had to offer. It had navigation and was luxurious for the price. They were extremely courteous and appreciative of Military service. Their building was convenient with a quality shuttle running from drop to the airport. We recommend Alamo over past issues with Enterprise. Sad to see they have negative reviews.

I am a JH local who rents from this place nearly every month (sometimes more), they have great rates and excellent service. Unfortunately, they are moving to the airport, which will make it nearly impossible for me (and most locals) to continue renting from them, what a bummer!

Haven't had a problem until this last time, tank was filled at the closest gas station and returned. Received a charge for 3 gallons of fuel, thankfully the representative on the phone assured I would receive a refund. Very sketchy!!!

Alamo apparently charges $5/day for spouses to drive even though every other rental car company does not. This is something that should be verbally mentioned when they ask if you'd like to include your wife as a driver. Instead, I discovered this later when they charged my card for the extra fee and there was "nothing they could do" to reverse the fee.

Worst rental car experience ever. Lied and cheated repeatedly. Booked and paid online. Reservation contract stated "midsize SUV" but "were out" when we got there (even though available online still and continued to offer ppl who walked in if they wanted to pay "upgrade"). Would only offer us smaller car listed as "compact SUV" on website. Wouldn't move us to standard SUV (which were suburus?!), wouldn't refund any money for trying to force us to move down. Offered free tank of gas "that's absolutely all we can do". No it's not, not with ten SUVs in your front lot.
