Budget Car Rental

Upon arrival the agent informed the cars had not been cleaned or checked. She said they didn’t have the ability to check return cars and she encouraged me to complain to Budget. She also said I needed to come back if there was any problem with the car. I went out and checked the car. It was filthy. The windshield had a major crack. I went back in to report it but the line had 20 people for me to wait again. What a terrible experience. Clearly Budget are deeply under staffed in a major resort town in a peak period.

Satisfactory rental down town. A rock cracked the windshield and they said they would take care of it (credit dard covered, but they paid nothing). Now, 6 months later I ge a bill for total of $405 - rediculous price twice as high as I have ever paid. Years ago Hertz charged me $114 when they got the bill, a deeply discounted rate. You can not go wrong with Hertz but the price is a little higher with cause.

Friendly agent, nice to pick up vehicle and drop off at airport rather than having to take shuttle for a comparable price to off-site.

Counter located inside the Jackson airport. Quick check in, car parked in the parking lot right outside the door, worked well, quick check out. No problems.

Very unfriendly unsmiling service from both different staff members on pick up and on drop off. What was the problem with these people?
