It had been a while since I had an eye check up, and needed new glasses, but figured I would give AB a chance. My wife made the appointment, everything went smoothly, everyone was nice, and doctor was great. They have a decent selection, honestly, for exam and everything, hard to beat the price. I would be giving them a 5 star review, but, my wife went in the next day, she didn't have an appointment though. Lady told her it would be over a week, before they had an opening. She didn't bring up anything on the computer, or look at anything, just told her that. I went online after she told me that, and went to the schedule appointment tab, they had an opening 3 days later. So that lady was either lazy, or just didn't know what she was doing. My wife went elsewhere to get her exam.... So obviously they have some great staff, and some terrible staff, which would explain the mixed reviews for this location.

I went in as a returning customer but for contacts instead of eyeglasses. My appointment was for 11:20am. I showed up early as instructed & waited roughly an hour just to be seen. Because this was my first time getting contacts, I was required to take an instructional class on how to insert & remove them. After I finally finished with the exam, they told me that they might have to reschedule my class before they could give me contacts or that I would have to come back in a few hours because someone on the staff had to go to lunch. Really?? I booked my appointment two weeks in advance. At this point I had already been there about two hours & was getting fed up. I calmly told the staff that I had been there since around 11 & had other errands to run today & that I needed to do the “class” now. They agreed to have someone sit with me. It only took me about 10 minutes to successfully insert & remove the contacts, & I was then able to check out. Thankfully the manager was nice enough to offer me a few months of free contacts for the inconvenience but the experience in whole was ridiculous. Not sure if they overbooked patients which caused them to run behind, but it was extremely inconsiderate of my time & it’s a shame because I had already paid $100 for my 3 year membership with their eyecare club.

I went in a week ago for my exam, everyone was friendly and very personable. The opthamologist explained his findings to me and why he was prescribing what he was... My glasses came in just 5 days! When i put them on my eyes went all kinds of crazy and the manager personally came out to explain why i was seeing how i was and did a quick exam to make sure everything was right. I felt extremely comfortable and was treated amazingly. Prices are very fair! Will definitely recommend.

What a horrible experience. Had an appointment, waited 20 minutes, was seen by a different doctor than I scheduled with and waiting 45 minutes just to pay my $10 co-pay. Didn't like any of the frames and even if I loved them, I would not plan to spend any more hours there.

I've been a customer and member of their eye care club for twenty years and I have used several of their locations in two different states. Currently this particular store is super on point! The staff was very friendly and helpful and really took the time to make sure I was satisfied even though it was a Saturday and they were really busy. I was worried about the switch from strictly contacts to glasses and the doctor (she was SO AWESOME) gave me a lot of different options and an extremely thorough examination.
They do get backed up and busy frequently, so if time is an issue I would recommend an early appointment on a weekday. But even with the occasional delays, I can't recommend them enough - especially for those of us on a fixed income or tight budget! Plus I really like my new glasses...
