Camped at one of the lake front campsites. The campsites are tight, fit a vehicle, a tent and the provided picnic table and fire pit. They have minimal shade. Aside from the proximity of your neighbors, each site had decent tasting water and electricity. The grounds also had a river that run through it and a decent playground for little ones. The biggest drawback is the train that runs about every two hours at night and the geese that wake you up by honking right outside your tent at about 6 AM! Still had a good time and took advantage of the proximity to the mountains to go on some great hikes!

The staff was very friendly during check-in and helpful with parking our rig in a crowded campground. The river and two ponds on the park are very nice along with all the ducks running around. Like other reviews, their is a train that goes by in the middle of the night, but it wasn't too loud. The campground was packed during our stay, which may have been the cause to us not being able to use the free WIFI and some water pressure issues on our second day. The campground has a ton of bikes and different types of vehicles for kids to rent, along with plenty of room to ride them around. The playground was well maintained. The camp store was fully stocked with basic food items and emergency RV repair items. We found the staff to be very friendly, and enjoyed our two night stay.

I cant say enough good things about this campground!!!!! We broke down on our first day of a crosscountry trip. The lady at the front desk ( I'm so bad with names) was wonderful. The campground was extremely busy, Mothers Day weekend, and she went above and beyond to make us comfortable. My husband is a disabled veteran who has a service dog and she made sure his needs were meet. To all you retired vets out there who travel the country i say come check out this KOA. The entire staff is superb. The grounds are gorgeous. Clean. Thanks you KOA!!!!

The park is well developed and maintained, with a nice kid's playground and a swimming pool. But, they require visitors to pay $5.00 each to enter the campground everyday. So, if you have a couple of friends or family members who come to visit, they have to pay $10.00 for the privilege of parking their car in a parking lot then walking to your site. This is absurd! We will only stay here again as a last resort.

Nice Campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in 34 foot motor home back in. Nice river frontage. Firepit by the river. Construction and mud after the rain. Waking during the night twice by train that sounded like it was coming straight at us. But all in all nice, large campground. Would stay again.
