Mt Pisgah Campgrounds

Nice camping community. Smaller bathrooms without shower had not heat, toilet paper or soap. Other than that it was a great experience. Bear box provided, because apparently they have a lot of bear sitings. We didn't have any wilderness friends thankfully. Woods surrounding with Creek. Kids loved that aspect.

Activities and Amenities Within Facility Campfire Programs Drinking Water Dump Station Fire Rings Firewood Flush Toilets Gift Shop Hiking Host Interpretive Programs Showers Trails Trash Collection Less Than 1000 Feet Laundry Picnic Area Restaurant Know Before You Go There are no electricity, water or sewer hookups Cell phone reception is very limited Black bears frequent the area; visitors must follow food storage regulations Mount Pisgah Campground has 74 first-come, first-served campsites and 52 campsites which are available for advanced reservation. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed or contained at all times.

this campground is pretty nice but it kinda wrecks it that you can only camp here for 6 months out of the year. it's not that cold here you guys.

Nice campground located south of Asheville, NC on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Paved throughout with level campsites. Bathroom/shower facilities, store and restaurant across parkway. If you get tired if camping Pisgah Inn is located nearby. At an elevation of almost 5000 feet, it can get a little cool even in the summer months so pack a light jacket. Be sure to lock up all food as bears are known to roam the area.

Nice. Bathrooms were nice. Some needed cleaning but had supplies.
