Flaming Arrow Campground & RV

Flaming Arrow campground is a really nice run quite place to stay. The staff is very helpful and accommodating to their guest. The owner is very nice and takes care of things. I think she has been given a bad rap from people breaking rules and doing things they know they are not supposed to be doing. She was very nice to not only us ,but others as well. This is not a place for anyone looking to party and be loud .Look else where if that is your camping need. While it is an older campground for sure. It has been well kept . The power and water are almost new and the sewer hook ups are kept clean. They have cable TV , and WiFi, just do not look to use the WiFi for streaming services. It works fine for most all other uses. Our AT&T service worked great and we were way in the back of the campground. So like any campground it depends on what or who's cell service is in that area. There are a lot of long term stays here ,but they do not affect things in and around the campground. They just seem to fit right in. We enjoyed our stay at Flaming Arrow and will return again. It is a hidden little gem of a campground .

My family and I evacuated the Florida Keys in September and as we continued to move away from that horrible storm with our family of 5, 3 cars, 2 dogs, 2 birds and a cat, somehow we ended up in this absolutely beautiful place in the Smokies! The staff where kind and helpful and we totally appreciated the no b.s. approach of the owner (Joan I think) and how she's made this place what it is... the covered camp sites are the bomb and gave me a new appreciation for tent camping again. My entire family looks forward to another visit there.

Such a fun, clean campground! Very close to downtown Cherokee and Great Smoky Mountain National Park so there is plenty to do. We stayed in a covered tent site. There was plenty of room and the cover would have been great if it had rained. The bathrooms were very clean and everything seemed very well kept. My kids had a blast playing on the playground and in the pool with all of the other kids staying at the campground. The owner, Joni was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. All in all, a great place to stay!

The owner was terribly rude, most terrible customer service ever. There were no grills, the bathrooms & showers were out of order, camp site positioned by dumpy houses, pool water was black and there was the occasion crystal meth addict that would drive through campground. Imagine paying for a campsite for a week & there’s no showers or bathrooms. Why would I pay for that? Do yourself a favor & spend your money elsewhere.
