We stayed here for 5 nights. The weather was very rainy but the site (B7) was high enough to keep us dry in our travel trailer. More stone around the site would have been helpful. A letter describing recent and planned improvements states this is comimg by 2017. All shower and bathroom areas kept clean, as is the entire campground. You can tell the proprietor takes pride in this beautifully scenic area. WiFi is fairly fast and dependable with many repeater towers throughout the large campground. The sites are fairly spaced apart but not overly large. There are several small cabins that look charming. The laundry facility was also clean and in good working condition. There are several camp sinks available if needed and are also kept clutter free and clean. Highly recommend this campground.

For the inexperienced camper or traveler this is great. It was easy to get to and convenient for a last minute option. May return; however, there are so many better options in the area that offer more primitive camping. Highway noise wasn't obnoxious but was present. Staff was nice and welcoming contrary to other reviews. I did not enjoy being so close to others, but it is what it is.

Nice campground, we rented a cabin. Beautiful all wood! Very small but ok for a couple. "Kitcken" was a tiny counter with microwave, toaster, coffee pot and the only all purpose single sink for kitchen and bathroom uses. Cooking would be very difficult in the tight quarters but we ate out both nights. Good scenery, we enjoyed sitting by the campfire with another couple but the security guard who circles round constantly was rude and said we were too loud... we are senior citizens and were just talking! He yelled at people next door about their music, we didn't even hear their music! Seemed he was on a power trip

This KOA is literally on the shoulder of the interstate, not for those of us expecting nature. For the cabin they warn you that you will need *linen*, but there isn't even a blanket or a pillow. Overall, it's a gravel parking lot for RVs, which explains why the RV owners are so happy with it.

All of the staff were so kind and accommodating. This is a perfect fit for visiting all you need or want to see in the Asheville area .
