Horrible experience. Driveway is blocked so no drop-off. Parking lot next door WILL boot your car as soon as you fail to buy a parking pass thinking you'll just run in. $75 release fee. Homeless all over, and they are kind one minute, then seeking money the next claiming to have protected your car and tried to keep the boot guy from locking your car. Inside: directions on screen says must check baggage. Counters have "information sign" rather than sign saying "check baggage." Everybody I asked (and yes, I asked workers) couldn't tell me if the information line was where you checked baggage. Line was triple looped. Then directions say proceed to gate A. There is no "gate A" there are signs that say "Line A, Line B..." and they all go out the same door. But yes, Line means gate.
Bus boarding at 8:30, and could not get through lines in time for boarding. Tried to get help and workers shrugged their shoulders and said, "guess you'll miss your bus." Finally someone told us we weren't going on that bus anyway as it was full. What?! Why would you oversell tickets?! there was enough people left behind to fill another whole buss. We were assured there were TWO buses for our destination leaving at 8:30...and the second would be there soon. Finally got through baggage check at 8:45.... Bus didn't come until 10:30 and left even later. Was supposed to have a layover in Orlando of an hour but now obvious that will not be met. This was my experience dropping my adult daughter off for her first bus trip. Now, at home, trying to track her trip and that bus is not even registered on their sight ...does not leave me feeling very confident about her safety. Bathrooms dirty, smelly...understaffed, and under informed staff. Signage needs updating to use same vocabulary as instructions listed throughout bus station.

The best way to describe this hell hole is by quoting Star Wars: "NEVER WILL YOU FIND A MORE WRETCHED HIVE OF SCUM AND VILLAINY." This dump is more like the lockdown at a maximum security prison, with its big, black security guard more busy with pissed off, belligerent customers than a prison guard at Attica. The poor employees are relegated to do at least three jobs at once, rendering this place the worst run flop joint in the city. And at the Greyhound Bus Station, the only thing worse than the service is their record for being on time. If you "absolutely, positively have to be there on time," look elsewhere. Being on time is an ACCIDENT for this monumental joke. For this gang of misbegotten misfits, staying on schedule is like betting on a dead and rotting horse on a muddy track in Mexico.
My first experience with "Slow Dog" was in Birmingham, where I sat on my behind for SIX AND A-HALF HOURS waiting for the bus to arrive. I should have gotten an hotel room. Then, only just this week on an important business trip to Savannah, MY BUS WAS FIVE AND A-HALF HOURS LATE, when their driver apparently didn't even bother to show up for work. They had to send out a search party to find a woman on her day off to mercifully drive the coach.
The best advice I can give anyone even thinking of using this flea infested dive is this. First, bring a bed. Second, don't make plans to be anywhere on the same day that you think you will. Third, don't tell your parole officer where you're going. And fourth, its far better to WALK to wherever you're going than to use this toilet on wheels. It's much faster and more reliable. Just how this pile of desiccated dog excrement has lasted so long is a miracle of the Devil. This isn't a business, it's a travesty. A blight upon society. It should turned into a halfway house for crack heads and the homeless, or closed down completely.

This place is a real dead end. I was arrived by bus in this sordid place on January 4, 2018, at around 10 p.m. because I had to wait for my second bus for Dallas. Once inside, I saw almost only weird and dangerous and threatening people, so I was scared, normal would you tell me. Thirty minutes after my arrival, a dozen armed police arrived inside and they ordered to everyone to go out on the street because an armed man was inside. People were screaming and some even were lying to the ground. Then calm returned. If you go to this place I give you two good advice: take a life insurance and get a gun before going there.

I honestly wish I can give them zero stars.. My experience with them was just god awful. I was supposed to leave at 11:35 pm but my bus got canceled.. Instead of telling us that the bus was canceled they lied and said the bus was delayed for 5 hours.. I had my ticket change so i can leave at 6 am, but once again my bus was delayed for 6 hours. When I asked the manger what’s going on she directed me to sit down and leave her alone... I ask for a number to cooperate and she gave me a fake number. Because of greyhound my 6 hour ride took me close to 24 hrs to complete... please save you money and just get a rent-a-car....

I would give negative 5 stars if possible. Staff is rude and poorly trained on customer service. The wall outlets did not work at all could not charge any of my devices. The rest rooms was absolutely disgusting. All of this on top of a 7 hour bus delay!!. Never riding grey hound again. This experience has been with out a doubt the worst ive had as far as traveling goes.
