Excellent hiking trail. Lots of hills but it evens out a bit as you near Elephant Rock about 1.5 miles in. It can be busy on very nice days, but it's still a generally quiet and peaceful hike.

The hike to the top of Bald Bluff was OK - gravel marked the trail well.  It was up hill about 1000 ft, but gradual enough so that it wasn't onerous.  However, the payoff at the end - the bluff - was underwhelming.  You can see quite a distance, but only in one direction and not particularly picturesque.
