Needs better mapping on distances and maybe a porta potty. Always leave a place cleaner. I did pick up trash along my way from Gatorade and water bottles to shot gun shells. People on the trail was friendly.
Pretty trail with lots of different scenery to look at. Felt very safe and family friendly. You can hike for as long or short as you want. Bring bug spray because parts of the trail get a little muggy.
11/07/21. Hiking the well maintained Ice Age Trail in this area marked with yellow spots, the eye-opening vast prairie surrounding with the colorful autumn forests along the remote horizon, will relax your stressed nerves in a few miles walking. Watching the clouds moving slowly in the blue sky, breathing deeply the sweet smell of the grass and leaves, your mind could be meltdown with the scenic beauty of nature quickly. The Brady's Rocks can be accessed by the connecting path marked with white spots. The Ice Age path is easy for most hikers, but the loop path about half mile to Brady's Rocks may need a little more efforts. Go through the video "Brady' Rocks" on Youtube "Sweet Calming" channel to determine if that is suitable for you. There are two near by parking lots along the Highway 67. This is a wonderful place to get out into nature and stretch your legs! The colorful fall foliage, the sights and sounds of small animals and insects. Aaaahhhh breathe the crisp fresh air, feel the dirt under foot. I enjoyed my walk to Brady's rocks and back. Thank you, Wisconsin volunteers for maintaining this wonderful getaway to nature!
Excellent trail to go for a trek. Enjoyed jogging this trail. Every peaceful and scenic. Trails for biking also available. Parking available.
Amazing! Clear springs with abundant watercress. Great place to see greenery in even in the winter time!
So many things to see! This trail is great and it just seems to go and go. Love having it locally accessible.
Great views, but perhaps a little too much up and down through the Kettles. Sometimes it would have been nicer to stay on the rims of the kettles.
Walking along the well-maintained Ice Age trail in this area marked with yellow spots, the vast revealing meadow that surrounds the colorful autumn forests along the remote horizon, will relax your stressed nerves in a few miles on foot.
