It's been a few years since we were last here. Great changes. They have the trails remarked with signs and newer paint markings. Can't get lost. Nice hike difficulties. Great for whole families and the dog on leash!

This was a beautiful but easy trail. The guide says it is difficult but but I think that's for cross country skiing as the whole trail is really just rolling hills. Definitely worth a an hour or two to explore.

Nothing spectacular. Just a nice walk in the woods. Multiple, well marked loop trails. The longest is approximately 5.0 miles. Trails are wide, well maintained and well traveled. Hard packed dirt. No grass. A few hills but mostly level. Good for running. Usually the first trails in the area to dry out in the spring and after rains (lots of sun hit these wide, open trails). Not crowded during the week (usually 5-10 cars in the lot). Can get crowded on the weekends. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables. Shelter. Bathrooms. Seems safe (plenty of in and out traffic). Fee area. Purchase an annual Wisconsin State Park sticker or pay daily use fee (entrance station is usually un-staffed).

These trails are good for walking and running. Smooth trails without a lot of roots or rocks. Dogs are allowed too
